Lego land California!

We were fortunate enough to make it to Lego land on our trip! It was a good practice run for going to Disneyland a few days later. Connor loved it!!! He couldn't make it on all the rides but they still had plenty for him to do! We decided to make it a packed day and do the Aquarium, the regular park and then the water park at the end of the day. I slept really well that night;) and could probably have slept right on into the entire next day as well. It was all worth it even with the one melt down. thankfully that only lasted a few minutes just from to much going on. I was bad that day and didn't take very many pictures.

        OF course you have to get some pictures with Lego's being that you are at Lego land. They do an incredible job with everything, it was star wars themed while we were there.

California August of 2013

Once again the time has flown by and I am so behind on the things to document here. This past summer we went to California for my cousins wedding. It was beautiful, she got married in a vineyard in Temecula. It was great to see some family we have missed over the last few years. We also got to go to Disneyland and Lego land While most of the family was in town at the same time. It was a blast to spend time with family and enjoy the time we all had together out there. I will start with my cousins wedding since that's where the party began!

A few weeks back we were at a friends house for dinner, and Connor decided that after he was finished with his dinner that he was gonna go and jump on there trampoline. Sounds fun right?!?!
Its even better when your naked I guess.

We were still eating dinner and I look out to check on him and see him butt naked, having the time of his life. Had to grab a picture before he turned around. He keeps me laughing that's for sure!

Where did the last seven months go?

I have been so incredibly bad about keeping up with this blog over the last several months. I get mad at myself when I go to long, but it has been none stop busy in our house for a while now. we are coming up on some down time and that will let me catch up Hopefully;)
The latest
Gerret is basically a Rock Star and works his but off all the time. He is amazing! There is one downside though his work comes home with him all the time. The nature of his job I guess, it just wears you out unfortunately. When he is home he is taking advantage of some Connor time as much as he can! Love watching them play together. He also joined a softball league on Monday evenings that he is looking forward to.
I have been so thankful for a growing massage business, and how busy it has kept me. However I have been feeling really bad about being away from Connor to often during the week, but the great thing is he loves the girl that watches him and my sister when she helps out! Aside form working I love being with Connor he is my best little buddy and becoming such a big help around the house I might add!!
Connor is growing up so fast he defiantly not the cute chubby little baby I once had, but now this sweet, very independent little boy. Makes me happy but a little sad inside too.

Gerret had a birthday at the beginning of May and we celebrated with some Banana cake of course his favorite and some yummy Chuy's Mexican food. You have to when your birthday falls on Cinco De Mayo. I am so happy I have him as my best friend he is there for me in everything a do. Happy birthday Gerret! You really are the best and most amazing man;)

13.1

I was fortunate enough to run my second half marathon, this time around with my good friend Becky! We did the race in San Antonino, It was a fun place to visit and check out some cool site before the big day. I had some training injuries this time, I had tarsal compression on the top of my left foot. it feels like chin splints but on the foot;( no fun and still hasn't healed all the way. I was able to finish the race though and beat my previous time by 10 minutes wahoooo! I was super happy about that!
 Before the race we spent some time on the boardwalk, took a boat ride and saw the Alamo. The night before we ate one of the best Italian restaurants ever and carb loaded;)  ( I wish I could eat pasta and bread every day.) It was a super fun weekend with great friends! Thanks Gerret and Sean for supporting us during this half. Looking forward to the next one!

found out a week after the race that I actually had a stress fracture on my left foot. total bummer no running for 6-8 weeks. what am I gonna do. I have grown to love running. I hope this heals fast for my sake.
